we have recently completed  a major refurbishment of a detached family home in balham, where we replaced an existing small rear extension with a full width rear extension full height fixed glazing elements and sliding doors opening to a new terrace area with outdoor kitchen facilities, extended the existing loft area by copying the left rear gable to the other side of the building, with a spacious roof structure connecting both, built over the existing garage to create a further bedroom and en-suite. water features and a well-designed geometrical garden with individual terraces for sunbathing and BBQ have been added, a new driveway designed and planting added to enhance the newly extended property.
