All Hallows Church Hall, Twickenham

The All Hallows Community Hall, built as prefabricated structure with concrete panels in the 1950’s, is a community hall as part of the Grade 1 listed site next to Christopher Wren’s relocated tower and the All Hallows Church, which provides wider services to the overall community. We have received planning consent to refurbish the front part as well as the main hall of the building with new toilet facilities, meeting rooms and office space at its first-floor level and redesign the main hall for the future use not only for sport activities but for hospitality events or wedding receptions. All external windows will be upgraded and the façades re-cladded to achieve a more welcoming appearance whilst modernizing the heating and electrical systems. The old soakaway system to capture all surface water from the site is antiquated and will be replaced with a modern attenuated system. The area between the hall and the church will be relandscaped to create a recreational area for the nursery. All construction information is currently with the faculty and following approval will be tendered for implementation in 2024.
