this dark timber clad gabled structure replaces a redundant and delapidated post-war garage within the grounds of a grand Victorian Gothic property. the detached annex includes bedroom and bathroom spaces at ground level and an open plan kitchen, dining and living space within a basement. skylights, a glazed terrace and sliding doors flood the lower floor with light, and an external courtyard with steps connect the annex to shared gardens at the rear.
