We were approached early 2021 by a hotel operator in Switzerland to design individual one- and two-bedroom holiday suites based on the modular footprint of the Swiss prefab modular timber manufacturing company Timto, featuring fully glazed facades around the main bedrooms, an additional lounge gallery, kitchenette and bathroom, with terrace access, an outdoor jacuzzi and a Finnish sauna unit. These modules are autonomous living pods designed to be set in dedicated locations for a limited period to enable guests to enjoy the unique landscape in difficult terrains.
