originally a balanced detached family home in the heart of wimbledon village, the house has been extended partly into the basement with poky rooms and low ceilings circa 30 years ago. we replaced the outdated Victorian conservatory with a light single storey kitchen extension, re-designed the ground floor by connecting the rear living room with the kitchen and dining, as well as creating a new downstairs toilet and cloak area. we extended the basement further out into the garden and water proofed the structure properly whilst large stairs are now leading up from both the garden and driveway to the new upper terrace level. the new entertainment room with a new guest bedroom and shower room are facing the rear garden, the utility and boiler room act as a buffer towards the garage. frameless glass balustrades surrounds the newly raised terrace, with a slender louvered structure protecting the seating area as well as the glassy extension against full impact from its sunny southern aspect.
