We are currently preparing a planning submission for this unusual forest hill site involving the demolition of an existing single-storey detached timber cabin-style dwelling to erect a new elevated three bedroom detached family home with a separate gym and home office as annex buildings around 300m2 in size. The new building will be constructed of a single storey linear timber framed structure with a single pitched roof supported on a steel pillow structure sitting on a sloping site within the wooded setting. Part of the new designs are two pre-fabricated glue laminated timber framed annex buildings close to the main house with an outdoor jacuzzi with wood burner on the wooden terrace connecting with the main building as part of the designs.
