Blumenstraße, munich

empty loft spaces in large cities in Germany have been discovered as a huge potential for creating habitable space in places short of housing in recent years. traditionally Munich still holds a large stock of houses from its Baroque Age displaying huge roof structures within the inner city ring; we converted the space of one of them to accommodate two duplex apartments with sleeping galleries and loft living style open space kitchen, dining and living areas. juliette balconies allow views to Munich’s famous Dome, a small roof terrace creates some outdoor space facing the inner courtyard of the property.
